What is a Prosthodontist?

Drs. Luczynski or Bender may refer you to a prosthodontist if you have missing teeth or facial deformities that require a specialist. The prosthodontist examines and diagnoses disabilities caused by loss of teeth and supporting structures and creates prostheses to restore the proper function and esthetics of the mouth, face, and jaw. Typically, the prosthodontist will have had extensive training with three or more additional years of study after dental school.
